Now hiring fir a Litigaton Paralegal for a Landlord/Tenant role - Temp to Hire, Monday - Friday from 9:00 - 5:00.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare eviction complaint for residential and commercial tenants.
• Prepare collections demand letters, complaints, judgments and motions.
• Prepare attorney files for court.
• Assist lawyers by researching legal precedent, investigating facts or preparing legal documents.
• Prepare legal documents for collections and eviction cases Help prepare lawyers for meetings and court hearings.
• Organize documents and coordinate document productions.
• Assist with scheduling and updating attorney calendars.

Qualifications:

• 1-5+ years of experience is required
• Litigation experience is required
• Help prepare lawyers for meetings and court hearings
• Prepare landlord/tenant complaints and file on eCourts
• Assist lawyers by researching legal precedent, investigating facts or preparing legal documents for trial
  Prepare collections cases, including demand letters, special civil complaints, judgments, information subpoenas, motions to enforce litigants right, bank levies, wage garnishment, etc.
• Scan files into electronic copies for future reference
• Assist with scheduling and updating attorney calendars
• Experience with Commercial Litigation, Collections, Evictions, and Bankruptcy.
