Paralegal

Our client, an established law firm in NJ is looking for a self-starter who can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced legal environment. Candidates with prior law firm experience are encouraged to apply. Experience in Estate Planning, Trusts & Estates, Probate, or Elder Law is preferred, but the firm is open to candidates from other legal backgrounds who demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and the ability to learn quickly.


Responsibilities
Support attorneys with Estate Planning, Elder Law, and Trust & Estate matters
Prepare, review, and organize legal documents and client files
Coordinate client meetings, document signings, and follow-up communications
Maintain calendars, deadlines, and case management systems
Communicate professionally with clients, courts, financial institutions, and outside parties
Assist with trust and estate administration matters
Provide administrative and legal support as needed


Qualifications
Prior law firm experience required
Experience in Estate Planning, Probate, Elder Law, or Trust & Estate Administration preferred
Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
High attention to detail, professionalism, and strong work ethic
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems

Hours 9am-5pm Monday to Friday
