Job Title: Med Surg/Tele RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med Surg/Tele Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 Year Recent Experience Required License: State License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - MS/Tele - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Management of dysrhythmias - Use of Rapid Response/Code teams - Peripheral Line Care/Management - Nasal Cannula - Oxygen administration - Oxygen tanks - Non-invasive airway management - Isolation precautions Description: Candidates who can start as soon as possible and who have no requested time off will be eligible for an expedited offer without an interview. Candidates who require time off or have a delayed start date will undergo standard review and approval. This position requires floating per facility needs. Team nursing is implemented, where a care team consisting of an RN, LPN, and PCA can care for a maximum of 8 patients. Every other weekend and holiday work is mandatory. All requested time off must be provided upon submission. If the traveler does not have the required license, they may still be submitted if they have applied for the license. It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure that any additional shifts are covered. A call-off policy allows for 3 shifts per 13-week assignment. Medical or religious exemptions for required vaccinations will be considered. Previous travelers are eligible to return as long as they are in good standing. First-time travelers will be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on their experience. The EMR system training will be provided. Skills in the required areas are essential for this role.
