BayCare is currently in search of our newest Operations Support Specialist who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. Role Overview

As an Operations Support Specialist, you will provide hands-on support for facility operations, infrastructure systems, and audiovisual (AV) technology across multiple departments. You will play a key role in maintaining operational continuity by supporting building systems, coordinating vendors, and ensuring AV and technical equipment are functioning effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Support facility operations, including coordination with contractors and vendors
• Assist with maintenance and oversight of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
• Provide hands-on support for audiovisual (AV) systems, including setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Support device and systems access across departments and programs
• Assist with operational needs for clinical, education, and meeting spaces
• Coordinate logistics and technical support for events and departmental activities
• Maintain communication with internal teams, leadership, and external partners
• Monitor equipment functionality and escalate issues as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education Required

• Associate's degree in a related field

Experience

• Required: 2 years of operations experience
• Required: 2 years of audiovisual (AV) or technical support experience
• OR 4 years of relevant technical or facilities experience in lieu of degree

Technical Skills & Knowledge

• Working knowledge of facility infrastructure (HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems)
• Experience with audiovisual systems, equipment setup, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with technical systems support, device management, and infrastructure operations
• Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills
