Senior Manager of Administration

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead a team of departmental supervisors
- Ensure operational efficiency
- Supervise all operation functions (facilities, guest services, conference services, digital services and mailroom)
- Work closely with the operations manager to negotiate with vendors
- Work closely with building management on any maintenance or security-related issues
- Collaborate with the operations manager to ensure the maintenance, upgrade and configuration of all software and equipment
- Manage and oversee office catering requirements
- Review and negotiate service agreements and annual budgets
- Develop staffing plans and budgets for the office
- Monitor and make recommendations for space, facilities and equipment needs
- Lead periodic meetings
- Hold one-on-one meetings with direct reports
- Work with and coach local department managers and supervisors
- Collaborate with HR to resolve employment related issues
- Project and anticipate personnel needs
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 6+ years of relevant office/administrative managerial experience; law firm or professional services environment is a plus
- Prior experience managing a team and developing staff required
- Working knowledge of MS Office with emphasis on Word and Excel
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and coaching skills
- Perform all job duties with a commitment to providing superior service to clients and attorneys while producing a high quality work product
- Able to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Outstanding interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team environment, as well as independently
