Job Details Job Location: Main Campus/Downtown - Kansas City, MO 64124 Position Type: Full Time Job Category: Customer Service Responsibilities Conduct general interpreting for staff, patients, and families in the Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center practices. Provide medical interpretation of information, direction, service, and support to all who seek medical care. Ensure all staff, patients, and families experience professionalism, compassion, and support. Respond to questions, explain processes and procedures, and offer helpful, service-oriented responses. Accurately process and intake all patient information through thorough communication and interpreting. Assess and monitor patients’ understanding of information conveyed. Greet and interpret information for all incoming patients and families requiring interpreting in any SURHC practice. Thoroughly interpret and relay all relevant and necessary patient information to staff to ensure all pertinent details are obtained for all areas of SURHC. Assist with scheduling follow‑up visits and provide interpreted answers to patients’ and families’ questions. Serve as the primary resource for interpreting patient questions and concerns.
