BODYBAR Pilates is a fast-growing boutique fitness franchise delivering dynamic Pilates workouts through our signature BODYBAR method—now in studios across the U.S. We’re on a mission to set the industry standard in how Pilates is taught and experienced, with a focus on strength, form, and most of all— CHEER . From the studio floor to the front desk, our team leads with positivity, passion, and purpose.
Who We’re Looking For
As Fitness Manager, you will lead the fitness side of the studio. You will teach classes, recruit and coach instructors, manage the class schedule, uphold BODYBAR standards, and work closely with the owner and Studio Manager to grow a connected local community.
The right person enjoys both the studio floor and the leadership work behind it: coaching people, giving clear feedback, solving problems, and following through and creating a great member experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
Teach approximately 10-12 BODYBAR Pilates classes per week with energy, safety, and consistency
Create community in the studio through engagement with members before, during and after class
Develop and manage the instructor team (recruitment, hiring, onboarding and ongoing instructor evaluation and feedback)
Manage and develop class schedule based on member demand, instructor availability, and studio performance
Work with studio leadership to review key performance indicators, member feedback, instructor performance, and schedule utilization.
Keep equipment, training records, and studio readiness organized; identify maintenance needs and coordinate follow-up
Help with community events, local partnerships, and member engagement activities.
Help with social media content and posts
What We’re Looking For
At least one of the following credentials:
Bachelor Degree in Exercise Science or related field
Certified personal trainer/group fitness instructor
Pilates or BODYBAR Instructor Certification
Minimum of 1 year in the fitness Industry
Minimum of 1 year management experience in fitness or related field
Community Builder
Detail oriented and organized
Experience coaching or mentoring instructors and giving direct, constructive feedback
Strong organization, follow-through, and comfort using technology
A service-first, team-oriented leadership style
Availability for a flexible schedule that includes early mornings, evenings, and weekends as studio needs require
Willingness to complete required BODYBAR training and teach the BODYBAR Method
CPR/AED certification, or willingness to obtain it before teaching responsibilities begin
