IT Procurement Specialist

IT Procurement SpecialistVolt is immediately hiring an IT Procurement Specialist in San Diego, CA. As an IT Procurement Specialist, you will assist with:IT Procurement - Place orders to purchase all IT PC related hardware and software for all site locations in US and CanadaVendor Contact – Interact with vendors and various suppliers concerning orders, product research, price quotes and order trackingService – Open tickets for hardware and software requests; work with CSA's, IT inventory and regional IT for these ordersSoftware License Management – Ensure compliance with all software licensing agreements and software usage; track software licensingSoftware Installation – distribute softwareProcurement – track IT capital and expensed spending, invoices, and work with Property Accounting to maintain PC assetsProcess Documentation – assist in the creation and implementation of standardized processes and policies; full cycle of asset managementAsset Management – maintain and track inventory levels; provide inventory reports and arrange retirement of old assetsProcess Moves and Term Reports – monitor HR reports for moves, new hires and termsIT Budget – work with Supervisor on approval for the PC capital budgetField Office Support -work with IT Reps and Field offices to facilitate procurement supportLoaner laptops – manage loaner laptop pool and requestsApplication Maintenance – track maintenance subscriptionsThis is a full-time - possible temp to hire opportunity.Schedule: Monday - Friday - 8am – 5pm. This role will be working onsite at the San Diego facility.The ideal candidate will have:2 – 3 years of related IT Procurement / Administration experienceExcellent communication skillsPay Rate: $ 36.00-$37.00 Per Hour DOE*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties certifications, etc.
