Job Title: Safety Manager
Type of Role: Direct Hire
Shift / Hours: 8am-6pm
Location: San Antonio, TX
Salary: $60K - $70K

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Safety Supervisor to lead and oversee Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs across multiple operational sites. This role is responsible for driving compliance, standardizing safety practices, and fostering a strong safety culture throughout the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Promote a proactive and consistent safety culture across all locations
• Prepare and present regular safety performance reports to leadership
• Lead and support site Safety Committees to promote engagement and accountability
• Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Deliver safety training programs across all departments, ensuring proper documentation and audit readiness
• Conduct facility inspections, equipment evaluations, and internal audits to identify risks and ensure compliance
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and environmental regulations and update policies accordingly
• Partner with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory agencies during inspections and certification processes
• Monitor and analyze safety metrics (TRIR, DART, near misses, corrective actions), providing actionable insights to leadership
• Develop, implement, and manage HSE programs in compliance with OSHA, DOT, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and internal safety standards
• Establish and standardize safety procedures across multiple locations, ensuring alignment with KPIs, audit requirements, and regulatory compliance

Qualifications:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Proven ability to implement and manage safety programs across multiple sites
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT regulations, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards
• Effective training and communication skills with the ability to influence safety culture
• Experience conducting audits, tracking safety metrics, and leading incident investigations
• 3–5 years of experience in safety, EHS, or compliance roles, preferably within transportation, logistics, or manufacturing environments
