Kelly is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for one of our clients in Chicago, ILReady to apply Before you do, make sure to read all the details pertaining to this job in the description below.Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm100% onsitePotential for temp to hire$21/hrKey ResponsibilitiesCoordinate day-to-day logistics activities related to shipping and receiving operationsMonitor and manage inbound and outbound product movement to ensure accurate tracking and timely deliveryCommunicate with carriers, vendors, and logistics partners regarding scheduling, pickups, and deliveriesPrepare, review, and manage Bills of Lading (BOLs) and required shipping documentation for carriers and driversHandle nightly shipment closures and ensure documentation is complete and accuratePartner closely with the Customer Service team to support order fulfillment, resolve delivery issues, and meet service level expectationsIdentify and escalate logistical issues as needed to support production and customer requirementsPerform additional duties as assigned during the temporary assignmentRequired QualificationsOne or more years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain supportIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and OutlookFluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage daily tasks, urgent issues, and follow-up activities effectivelyComfortable working independently with minimal supervisionStrong organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively across teamsAbility to exercise independent judgment and think critically in a fast-paced environmentRequirements:Intermediate Microsoft Suite skills, particularly Word and Outlook.Fluent in English.Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Ability to balance daily work, urgent issues, and follow-up tasks.Comfortable asking questions and working with different teams.One or more years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain management. xhyhwjd Ability to exercise independent judgement, think critically and work well in cross-functional teams.
