What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for an industrial chemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns involving access points, equipment areas, and restricted locations.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization as directed by site policies, and report irregularities involving personnel, vehicles, or deliveries.
• Support emergency and evacuation protocols by helping with access control, directing people during incidents, and coordinating with site representatives and/or first responders when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
