Position Details Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Baytown, TX Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM Tue 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM Wed 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM Thur 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM Fri 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, access points, and the perimeter, remaining aware of changing conditions common to an industrial location. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted or controlled areas. Support site operations by communicating with supervisors, employees, contractors, and/or first responders regarding security-related concerns, unusual activity, and incident updates. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
