Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our growing team. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert tax guidance, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in tax accounting and a desire to grow within a forward-thinking CPA firm. Key Responsibilities Tax Planning and Strategy: Develop comprehensive tax strategies for individual and business clients, ensuring compliance while maximizing tax efficiency. Client Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor in tax-related matters. Tax Compliance: Prepare and review complex tax returns, including federal, state, and local tax filings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to all regulatory requirements. Research and Analysis: Stay current with changing tax laws and regulations, conducting research to provide innovative tax solutions for clients. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide a holistic financial approach for clients, addressing their broader financial needs. Supervision and Training: Mentor and guide junior team members, assisting in their professional development. Client Representation: Represent clients in tax audits, negotiations, and other interactions with tax authorities. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Active CPA license preferred. EA is also nice to have. Minimum of 7 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably within a CPA firm. Proficiency in tax compliance software and financial analysis tools. Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
