Tax Accountant

We are seeking a full-time detail-oriented Tax Accountant with experience in partnership and corporate taxation. This role will support the preparation and review of U.S. and international tax filings, assist with tax provisions, and coordinate with external service providers to ensure accurate and timely compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Exposure to international tax is a plus but not required.This role has the potential to be fully remote for candidates located in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland and New York.Primary ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review U.S. partnership and corporate income tax workpapers and returns in coordination with external tax preparersAssist in the preparation of ASC 740 income tax provisionsCoordinate with in-country service providers for the preparation and filing of foreign tax returnsPrepare and maintain tax account reconciliationsMaintain tax depreciation and amortization schedulesSupport audit requests and respond to tax-related inquiries from auditors and regulatory authoritiesAssist with state and local tax notices, including coordination with applicable jurisdictionsSupport special projects and process improvement initiatives as neededEducationBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance requiredCPA or CPA eligibility preferredExperience2+ years of experience in tax, with exposure to partnership and/or corporate taxTechnical SkillsExperience with tax provision software (e.g., OneSource) preferredFamiliarity with tax research tools (e.g., BNA or equivalent)Experience with Alteryx or similar automation tools is a plusStrong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and advanced formulasSoft SkillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentSelf-starter with the ability to work independently and collaborativelyComfortable interacting with cross-functional teams and external providersPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit and work at a computer for extended periods (6–8 hours/day)Occasional travel may be requiredFlexibility to work extended hours during peak periodsSalary RangeSalary Range: $75,000 - $105K + bonus PotentialPlease note, the pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope of responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, department budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
