Job Description
Join a Dynamic ER Team as a Night Nurse!

Job Description:


- Shift: 12-Hour Nights (every other weekend)
- Floating Requirement: First to float between multiple satellite locations including Goodyear, Camelback, Mesa, Glendale, and Surprise
- Unit: Emergency Room (only 2 RNs on staff at satellite locations)
- Patient Ratios: 4:1
- EMR System: Cerner
- Certifications Required:
- BLS
- ACLS
- TNCC (CPI is preferred, but not required)
- Key Responsibilities:
- Complete a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (max 2 attempts)
- Participate in a pass/fail Sim Lab on Day 1 of orientation, covering:
- Foley catheter insertion
- Central line dressing changes (unless assigned to ED, where only port-a-cath insertion is required)
- Engage in educational training on lifts, restraints, and wound care

- Competency Expectations:
- Maintain sterile field during all procedures
- Exhibit proficiency in essential nursing skills

Cancellation Policy:
- Hospital has the right to cancel up to 4 shifts for 13-week assignments
