Strategy and Business Development Analyst Senior

: Nemours is seeking a Senior Strategy and Business Development Analyst for Wilmington, DE.

Primary Functions:

This position is responsible for supporting the business planning process, management reporting, financial analysis and the overall strategy development for all current and future services Nemours Children's Health provides throughout our Delaware Valley operations. You will be responsible for improving operational and financial decision making by using data and research-driven methodologies. This position requires advanced Excel/spreadsheet skills with strong experience analyzing data, transforming data into decision-making information, and presenting it to executive-level leadership.

The Senior Business Analyst will help support five primary functional areas:

• Service Line Planning and Reporting

• Corporate Planning

• Physician Relations & Referral Analytics

• Hospital Partnerships

• National Reputation including US News and World Report

A particular area of focus of this position is Service Line Planning and Reporting in support of organizational growth imperatives/initiatives. This position is accountable for strategic business plan development and operational and financial performance tracking.

This position serves as a project management role to lead and support projects as assigned by the Manager, Strategic Planning, the Chief Strategy Officer, and other various hospital and practice leaders.

Essential Functions:

• Conduct market analysis for our clinical and administrative leaders to understand our market share, total demand, competition, market opportunity, financial data and historical trends.

• Support the development of new and existing strategic partnerships and alliances through data and research driven methodologies.

• Develop presentations and dashboards for leadership and internal business partners on various strategic topics, trends, and business issues.

• Research competitors, identify providers and their corresponding network, and provide competitive briefings to leadership.

• Analyze referral pathways of multiple service offerings by identifying how patients entered our system, how they were referred to the specified specialty of interest.

• Assume project manager role for various strategic projects as assigned.

• Produce timely and accurate recurring reports as assigned.

• Develop feasibility studies and business models to support new business initiatives and strategy exploration.

• Must have advanced Excel/spreadsheet analysis skills.

• Must have the ability to work well with others.

• Good communications skills are required.

Job Requirements:

MHA or MBA preferred

Bachelor's degree required (In a quantitative field such as economics, applied mathematics, statistics, finance, etc. preferred)

More than 5 years of job related experience required.

Analytically oriented

Strong quantitative and qualitative skills

Strong critical thinking skills

Advanced Excel/spreadsheet skills

Healthcare experience preferred.
