About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff to join their Executive Leadership Team. The successful candidate will serve as a strategic thought partner to the President & CEO, driving the alignment, coordination, and execution of the organization's highest priorities. This role involves working across functions to translate strategy into action, facilitating executive decision-making, and leading complex cross-functional initiatives. The Chief of Staff will also support Board engagement, represent the President & CEO with external partners, and ensure the organization's mission of championing healthier lifestyles and social and economic change is at the forefront of all activities. Applicants for the Chief of Staff position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a Master’s degree or professional certification being a plus. A minimum of 10 years' experience in community engagement, public policy, government relations, or advocacy, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization, is required. The role demands strong project management, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with diverse communities. An analytical mindset and experience in anti-hunger advocacy and policy work are also preferred. The Chief of Staff will be expected to travel and work occasional evenings and weekends as necessary.
