Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description

A large concrete construction company is partnering with Insight Global to urgently hire an Accounts Payable Specialist. The ideal candidate will have strong experience doing data entry, invoice tracking, and credit card reconciliation. There will also be a need for good soft skills and a strong ability to communicate effectively with executives, both written and verbal. This is an onsite role in Byron, MI 5 days a week, M-F, 8am - 5pm.

Compensation Range: $22/hr to $26/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist

• Strong experience working in a Microsoft environment and using the Microsoft Suite daily (Word and Excel)

• Experience with invoice tracking

• Experience with credit card reconciliation

• Experience with data entry

• Strong sense of urgency and ability to stay organized - Experience in the construction industry as an AP Specialist

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business.
