A Mechanic Position At Skyworks LLC
Skyworks LLC is a family-owned and operated construction equipment rental company. Skyworks is a team inspired by a positive culture to build exceptional customer experiences.
The Skyworks Midland branch needs an experienced A Mechanic to work on our equipment at customer job sites.
Duties and responsibilities for Mechanic:
- Maintain the branch's equipment fleet
- Diagnose and fix issues with equipment at a customer's job site
- Inspect diesel engines, equipment hydraulics, and electrical systems to determine needs for repair or replacement of parts
- Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and equipment testing
- Prepare and maintain accurate records on the maintenance and repair of equipment, including warranty records
- Ability to work well independently with excellent communication skills
Qualifications for Mechanic:
- Electrical and hydraulic experience
- Experience repairing construction equipment- JLG, Takeuchi, Kubota, Genie, JCB preferred
- Certifications of Cummins, Deutz, Kubota engines a plus
- Customer service experience
- Valid driver's license with safe driving history
Pay depends on experience.
