Heavy Equipment Operator

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely by operating a variety of heavy machinery. Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, bulldozers, or similar machinery to move debris, and other materials as required by project specifications.
• Conduct daily inspections and maintenance checks to ensure equipment is in safe and proper working condition.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly to supervisors.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure safe and precise operations on the job site.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of required protective gear and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Assist with basic labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, or site cleanup as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support project completion.

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating heavy machinery, preferably 1-2 years.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation, maintenance, and safety requirements.
• Ability to monitor equipment gauges and indicators to ensure proper functioning.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Quick and precise control of equipment in response to signals and changing conditions.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit for extended periods while operating equipment.
