Medical Billing Clerk

Patient Accounts Billing Clerk Sumner Mental Health Center, a behavioral health center (CMHC, SUD, CCBHC) located in Wellington, Kansas, is hiring a fulltime Patient Accounts Billing Clerk. Duties include working with data, ICD-10 and CPT coding, and processing billing data electronically, checking KanCare and commercial insurance eligibility, auditing for accuracy, reconciling payments, registration of new consumers, credentialing, and other tasks performed in Patient Accounts. Minimum of a high school education with healthcare billing in an electronic medical record experience of at least three (3) years, with preference of experience in Excel and some college with accounting or related courses.
