Advanced Practice Provider (APP, APRN, PA)

Job Details Full‑time role supporting the Louisville‑Downtown clinic. Occasionally travel to support the Louisville‑South clinic (once a month), Lexington clinic (once a month), and Elizabethtown clinic (twice a month). Mileage reimbursement is available, and the role is bonus eligible. Responsibilities Identify and assess patient’s clinical issues and health care needs Record physical findings and formulate plan and prognosis based on patient’s condition and the doctor’s plan of treatment Evaluations and re‑evaluations of established patients Refer patients to physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment when needed Discuss the case with physician and other health professionals to prepare a comprehensive patient care plan Perform pain management injections for specific diagnoses according to practice protocols Prescribe/​order as medically indicated: diagnostics, therapeutics, medication, pain management procedures, and DME Work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and take initiative on a variety of tasks and projects Support the vision and culture of the organization and demonstrate personal commitment through active involvement in the performance improvement process All other duties as assigned Required Skills Experience in automobile personal injury or workman’s compensation cases Highly proficient with computers, especially EMR software, Meaningful Use, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to manage high levels of stress and make sound difficult decisions Qualifications, Education, and Experience (APRN) Valid, unrestricted professional license in the state of Kentucky and ability to obtain clinical privileges to practice medicine DEA registration preferred (PA candidates are not required to have DEA) Physical Requirements The physical demands of this position will include sitting and standing with occasional light to medium lifting. Ability to help lift patients and transport them in a wheelchair from the clinic to the parking lot is required.
