Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism. This role combines active patrol with strong communication and customer service, supported by a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and always acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.40 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Support public-facing operations by interacting with employees, visitors, and officials in a courteous manner and assisting with directions, information, and/or incident response needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess one of the following: 3 or more years of experience as a Military Police professional, Corrections Officer, or armed security-related professional, or be a Certified Law Enforcement Graduate.
• Possess 3 or more years of combined Law Enforcement, Corrections, and/or Military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
