Pay Rate:

• 1st Shift: $13.50/hour (7:00am–3:30pm or longer)
• 2nd Shift: $14.50/hour (11:00am or earlier–7:30pm)
• 3rd Shift: $16.50/hour (9:00pm–5:00am or longer)

Work Schedule:

• Sun-Thurs (3rd)
• Mon-Fri (1st and 2nd)
• May require weekend availability

What’s a typical day as Packer? You’ll be:

• Pulling and preparing products for shipment by ensuring the correct number and type of product is placed in each carton
• Placing labels on cartons, properly oriented for system scanners
• Selecting the appropriate size carton for shipping
• Using portable scanning devices and Pick-To-Voice systems to confirm pick operations
• Recording adjustments for short shipments and performing cycle counts as directed
• Visually inspecting books before packing to ensure quality
• Placing books securely in cartons to ensure safe transit
• Maintaining quality control reports to monitor picking accuracy
• Returning over-picks and mis-picks to the appropriate modules
• Meeting production requirements and following all safety instructions
• Walking and standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly

• Are able to walk and stand for long periods of time throughout your shift
• Can regularly lift up to 50 lbs
• Are detail-oriented and able to follow instructions and safety methods precisely
• Have warehouse, material handling, or distribution experience (preferred but not required)
• Are comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Are willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and rotating schedules
