What You'll Do:

• Perform waived laboratory tests in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Molecular, and Coagulation
• Receive specimens from phlebotomists and couriers; may operate a delivery van in high-volume areas
• Enter patient demographics and test orders into lab information systems
• Monitor quality control processes; ensure QC is within limits and escalate issues
• Conduct blood collection, including venipuncture and capillary sampling
• Process and log specimens, ensuring proper documentation
• Confirm abnormal results; report any rare or unusual findings
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of lab equipment
• Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure regulatory compliance
• Follow all safety protocols related to biological hazards and hazardous materials

What You Need:

Required:

• Valid license as a Medical Laboratory Technician or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical laboratory experience
• Ability to perform venipuncture and capillary collections
• Strong attention to detail and quality control adherence
• Physical ability to lift up to 15 lbs; comfortable working with biological materials and hazardous substances
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred:

• Experience working in mobile or remote laboratory settings
• Knowledge of lab information systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform equipment maintenance
