Start Date: ASAP

End Date/Duration: Ongoing

Shift: Flexible shifts (please inquire)

Hours/week: Full-time

Employment Type: Contract with potential for permanent placement

License/Certs: Valid laboratory/clinical certification (if applicable)

Experience: Prior lab or phlebotomy experience preferred, but not required

Hourly pay: $1.00/hour (please verify details during interview)

What You'll Do:

• Collect blood specimens via venipuncture and capillary methods
• Perform waived lab tests including Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Molecular, and Coagulation
• Monitor quality control of lab tests and instruments
• Enter patient data and test results into laboratory information systems
• Ensure specimen integrity and proper documentation
• Maintain supplies and equipment, troubleshooting issues as needed
• Follow safety protocols for handling biological and hazardous materials
• Drive laboratory van to high-volume testing locations when necessary
• Assist in maintaining inventory and documentation compliance
• Support workflow to meet turnaround time goals for STAT testing
• Contribute to a team-oriented, healthcare-driven environment

What You Need:

• Required: Valid certification/licensing (if applicable); prior experience preferred but not mandatory
• Preferred: Ability to handle multiple tasks, strong attention to detail, good interpersonal skills
• Key Skills: Patient specimen collection, basic lab testing, attention to safety and quality standards
