Paramedic

Overview We are seeking a full-time Paramedic for our plasma donor clinic in Houston, TX. Responsibilities Conduct initial health assessments of potential blood donors to ensure their suitability for plasma donation. Perform donor intake, vital signs, a finger-stick, and a head-to-toe medical exam. Assist in directing qualified donors to the phlebotomy team; counsel donors who do not meet requirements on what steps are needed to qualify for donation next time. Support a full-time clinic schedule with a benefits package paid from day one of employment. Support the clinic’s open schedule (7 days per week); some weekend work by nurses is required.
