In this supervisory role, you will be responsible for managing teams in a unionized manufacturing setting. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring team safety, building and training teams, implementing continuous improvement solutions, and meeting production targets. You will also participate in kaizen project activities focused on safety, cost, quality, and throughput improvements.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Ability to work any shift and overtime as needed
Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills to interface with all levels of plant employees
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Ability to build effective business relationships
Goal-oriented self-starter with team leadership skills
Ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members

Preferences

Bachelor's degree in a technical field
2+ years of supervisory experience in a high-volume environment
Experience in a union environment
Familiarity with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing systems
