Head of Communications, B2B

This role is eligible for a hybrid work model: two days in-office. As Head of Communications, B2B, you will define, build and lead the global communications function for Booking Holdings’ B2B organization. You will report to the Head of B2B Marketing and own the communications strategy, operating model and governance that support the organization’s business goals, ensuring communications is a strategic enabler of commercial growth, partner engagement and organizational transformation.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the B2B communications strategy, narrative and positioning, establishing the organization’s purpose and partner‑centric solutions.
• Build and oversee a global external communications program, managing media relationships across trade, business and tech media, leading proactive storytelling, issues and reputation management.
• Act as the primary communications advisor to senior leadership, shaping executive positioning, speaking strategy, media engagements and social media content.
• Design the internal B2B communications strategy and oversee global internal communications to engage employees, support transformation and translate change initiatives into clear narratives.
• Establish core channels, governance, agency partnerships and measurement frameworks, and coach talent to build a scalable, high‑performing global communications function.
• Represent the B2B organization within Booking Holdings’ enterprise communications leadership, partnering with corporate communication leads and brands to align B2B communications with enterprise priorities.

Qualifications

• Strategic insight and the ability to translate complex business priorities into clear communication strategies for senior leadership.
• Exceptional writing and narrative‑development skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging for diverse global audiences.
• Deep experience across international markets and a strong understanding of media, business and cultural landscapes in North America, Europe and Asia.
• Proven stakeholder management in matrixed organisations, building alignment across VP‑ and C‑suite stakeholders and managing agency partners.
• Agility and a builder mindset, with experience establishing communications strategy, governance, operating processes and measurement frameworks.
• Commercial acumen and a strong understanding of how communications supports business growth and go‑to‑market priorities.
• Knowledge of e‑commerce, B2B, technology and travel industries.
• Experience developing and maintaining relationships with media, industry bodies and key external stakeholders.
• Experience leading, mentoring and developing high‑performing teams.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary range for Connecticut and the NYC‑metro area: $192,000–$288,000.
• Eligibility for an annual bonus and equity grant.
