We are proud to introduce the first luxury boutique of Ladurée in Armenia.
We are now seeking an experienced Pastry Chef with a strong background in luxury hospitality and fine pastry production. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional pastry quality, maintaining brand standards, and leading the pastry team to ensure consistency, creativity, and excellence in every product.
This role requires a professional who can combine technical mastery with creativity, while upholding the refined standards of a world-renowned luxury brand.
Role Description
- Organize and oversee the entire pastry production process, ensuring smooth daily operations and consistent output aligned with brand standards.
- Prepare and supervise the production of various pastries, desserts, and bakery items, maintaining high quality in taste, texture, and presentation.
- Ensure strict adherence to recipes, technical procedures, and brand guidelines across all production stages.
- Develop and introduce new desserts, seasonal creations, and special menu items in line with luxury hospitality standards.
- Maintain full compliance with HACCP, hygiene, and food safety regulations, ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
- Supervise and coordinate the pastry team, including task distribution, scheduling, and on-the-job training.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage raw material usage, and ensure efficient stock control.
- Control food cost, minimize waste, and support operational efficiency within the pastry department.
- Collaborate closely with management, purchasing, and operations teams to ensure seamless workflow and product consistency.
- Ensure all products reflect the brand’s identity, maintaining a high level of aesthetic presentation and guest experience standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the pastry industry.
- Experience in luxury hospitality, fine dining restaurants, premium pastry boutiques, or high-end culinary environments.
- Previous leadership experience as Pastry Chef / Senior Pastry Chef / Sous Pastry Chef.
- Deep knowledge of:
Dough varieties
Creams and mousses
Chocolate techniques
Viennoiserie
Plated desserts
Sugar work and chocolate decoration
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
- Understanding of inventory management, food cost, and operational controls.
