This position is a field‑based role that will be on site and/or travel daily to job sites in Central New York State. Current job sites are: Mayfield NY, Lowville NY, Middletown NY and Sidney NY. Responsibilities Ensure all onsite personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules, etc. Document all violations, notify project management, recommend/implement corrective actions as required. Manage and ensure customer's expectations for quality, schedule, and budget are satisfied. Direct management of the operations portion of the project and interface with the customer and internal stakeholders. Provide the customer updates on operations portions of the program. Strive to improve the tbgun? program's margin. Report program performance data as required to management and customers. Supervise total construction effort to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. Includes interfacing with client representatives, AE representatives, other contractors, etc. In coordination with project management; plan and supervise onsite functions (scheduling, engineering, material control, and may provide day‑to‑day direction of onsite administrative staff in accounting, purchasing, etc.). Supervise craft employees and/or other contractors as required by the contract. Provide technical assistance, i.e., interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, etc., as required. Assist project management in developing and implementing project procedures, working documents, standards, etc. Assume responsibility for productivity of crafts, efficient use of materials & equipment, and contractual performance of the project. Perform additional assignments per Supervisor's direction. Qualifications BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred. 5+ years utility construction experience in relevant operations management, construction management, and/or craft supervision experience in similar facility construction, or equivalent combination of technical training and Operations Management experience. Experience in all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods); craft agreements, jurisdiction, negotiations; engineering, cost control schedules and safety required. Experience in understanding of industry practices, processes, and standards, and their impact on project activities. Familiar with scheduling software applications (Primavera, MSЕще… Project) – a plus. 100% overnight holde? 'travel required. Able to travel for extended periods of time at various locations. Salary range for this position is $91,000 to $130,000 depending on experience and education.
