CVOEO is hiring a Payroll Coordinator to join our Fiscal Team who will perform a variety of accounting, payroll, and administrative support functions within the Fiscal Department. This position is responsible for processing payroll activities, supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, maintaining financial records, and assisting with routine accounting processes.

The Payroll Coordinator works closely with Fiscal Department staff, Human Resources, program personnel, and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate financial operations. This position receives cross-training in multiple fiscal functions and serves as a backup resource to support continuity of operations.

The position requires full-time, in-office work during the probationary period. Following successful completion of the probationary period, employees may transition to a hybrid schedule, subject to business and operational needs.

The starting pay range is $27.79-$29.82 per hour

Requirements

• Associate's degree in accounting or 2 – 3 years of related experience in accounting, payroll, financial reporting, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired;
• Payroll experience desired;
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices; Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications; advanced Excel skills preferred;
• Experience preparing, analyzing, and interpreting financial information preferred;
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements;
• Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, access to reliable transportation and willingness and ability to travel within the CVOEO service area and the ability to uphold safety standards.
