Position Details Title: Formulation Scientist Position Type: 9 month contract with additional opportunity contingent upon performance and continued business need Job Location: Darien, CT Shift: 1st shift Benefits: 401K, Dental insurance, Life Insurance, Medical Insurance, Vision Insurance, PTO Compensation: $40/HR Job Description The Formulation Laboratory Technician will support hair color product development through laboratory batching, product stability testing, color performance evaluation, and documentation of results. This position will work with laboratory equipment, raw materials, consumer product samples, and hair tresses while following applicable cGMP practices. Responsibilities Prepare and manufacture hair color laboratory batches according to established formulations and procedures. Conduct product stability testing and evaluate color performance. Record, analyze, and report laboratory results and formulation stability and efficacy data. Operate laboratory equipment including batching equipment, pH meters, and viscometers. Prepare consumer laboratory samples and hair tresses for product application and evaluation. Follow cGMP practices and established laboratory procedures. Assist with the organization and maintenance of laboratory Qualifications BS/MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field plus 0-4 years of experience (or) Prior experience in Hair Color/Care or Consumer Products formulation. Strong problem-solving skills and positive attitude. Strong communication and analytical skills. Quick learner. Strong data management (excel etc.) On-Board was founded in 1976 by Robert L.
