Seneca Place —now revitalized under the new leadership of Oakdale Seniors Alliance —is seeking a high-energy, empathetic Social Worker to join our clinical team in Pittsburgh (Verona). This isn’t just about paperwork; it’s about ensuring our residents thrive emotionally and socially while receiving the high-level care they need.

In a skilled nursing environment, you are the Resident’s Voice and the Family’s North Star. You bridge the gap between clinical requirements and the human experience.

• Holistic Assessment: You’ll look beyond the medical chart to understand the "whole person," identifying the social and emotional needs that make our residents unique.

• Master of Transitions: You’ll lead the charge on admission support and complex discharge planning, ensuring residents have everything they need to transition safely to their next chapter.

• The Family Navigator: You’ll be the steady hand for families, providing counseling, resources, and a listening ear as they navigate the complexities of long-term care.

• Uncompromising Advocacy: You are the primary defender of resident rights, ensuring every individual’s dignity, autonomy, and safety are held to the highest standard.

• Collaborative Strategist: You’ll partner closely with our RNs, therapists, and physicians to ensure our "care orchestra" hits every note of holistic wellness.

• The Credential: A degree in Social Work. We highly value real-world experience and a heart for service!

• The Background: Experience in Skilled Nursing (SNF) or Long-Term Care is a major plus—you understand the pace and the regulatory landscape.

• The "People Skills": You can de-escalate a tough situation, comfort a family in crisis, and collaborate with a busy clinical team—all with a professional, positive vibe.
