GENERAL SUMMARY:

• Under general supervision of department leadership, provides comprehensive operational, patient experience, community outreach, and program management oversight for the multidisciplinary ALS Clinic in collaboration with physicians, allied health professionals, and medical staff.
• Serves as the primary point of contact for Persons with ALS (PALS), caregivers, community partners, donors, and advocacy organizations, ensuring a seamless, compassionate, and patient-centered experience from referral through end-stage care.
• Coordinates all aspects of clinic operations, patient flow, scheduling logistics, and multidisciplinary care delivery, while fostering a welcoming and supportive environment for patients and families.
• Maintains strong relationships with local, state, and national ALS organizations and advocacy groups to promote awareness, enhance access to resources, and support the clinic's mission.
• Collaborates closely with Marketing, Development, and community partners to expand outreach efforts, strengthen the clinic's presence, support fundraising initiatives, and develop educational resources and communications for patients and caregivers.
• Identifies and pursues opportunities for program growth, community engagement, and external funding to support the continued advancement of the ALS Clinic.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business or related field required.
• Three (3) years of recent progressive responsibility in an educational or medical environment.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to prioritize work, work independently under minimal supervision, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates initiative and resourcefulness in organizing and independently prioritizing work, establishing/improving procedures and systems and ensuring orderly and timely workflow.
• Strong data collection and entry ability with attention to detail.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and data management applications.
