Additionally you will work closely with production and perform a wide variety of tasks such as product testing, raw material inspection, finished good inspection, sanitation inspection, and creating finished good or packaging holds.ResponsibilitiesThis role is a second shift position (2:30pm- 11:00pm) Monday – Friday. Rotating weekend coverage scheduled every 3rd weekend (12:00pm – 12:00am)Monitor the production lines for quality issuesComplete analytical testing on finished products using various scientific methodsEnsure compliance to food safety standards by performing audits and inspectionsCollect and plate routine micro samples from ingredients, water, and equipment surfacesPerform review of production paperwork for complianceComplete routine lab equipment calibration and maintenanceManage non-conforming finished products/ incoming materialsCreate and train frontline and salaried staff on new SOPsConduct quality related trainings with front line associatesParticipate in Lean Six Sigma/TPM initiativesProvide support to new product innovation projectsPerform additional duties as assigned based on business needsCompensation and Benefits:The expected compensation range for this position is between $45,900 - $73,250.Location confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
