The Senior Sous Chef plays a critical role in managing daily kitchen operations and supporting the culinary team within a brigade structure. Reporting directly to the Owner and Head Chef, this position ensures high-quality food preparation, staff supervision, and efficient inventory and cost control. The Senior Sous Chef will oversee food safety and compliance while collaborating with suppliers and event catering teams, contributing to the overall success and reputation of the establishment.

Responsibilities

• Manage kitchen operations and supervise culinary staff
• Plan and develop menus in collaboration with the Head Chef
• Ensure quality control and maintain consistent food standards
• Oversee food preparation and presentation
• Control inventory and coordinate with suppliers
• Implement cost management strategies to optimize resources
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
• Train and mentor kitchen staff to foster team development
• Support event catering and special functions as needed
• Collaborate with team members across departments

• Experience in menu development and innovative culinary techniques
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
