Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required - first-time travelers not accepted

• Travel experience required

• Care for patients from adolescents to geriatrics

• Work in a very large and busy emergency department with high acuity patients

• Maintain 1:4 patient ratio in 59-bed ER averaging 165-175 patients per day

• Work every other weekend with maximum 7 days RTO

• Floating requirements are rare

• Holiday work required based on assignment period - if 1-2 major holidays fall during assignment, must work all; if 3 major holidays fall during assignment, must work 2

• Navy blue scrubs required

• Epic charting system experience required (hard stop - no exceptions)

• Must use Pyxis medication dispensing system

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS

• Work in Stroke and STEMI certified facility

• 24 hours of orientation required

• Must have Georgia or Compact license in hand at time of submittal

• Two supervisory references required (manager level or above)

• Must be available to submit compliance documents and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract

• Full compliance required to start on time or face 2-week pushback due to bi-weekly orientation schedule

The facility features a 59-bed emergency department with 74 total rooms, maintaining high patient volumes and acuity levels. The organization provides extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and pharmacy to ensure comprehensive patient care in emergency situations.
