Recovery Support Specialist

Adult Residential Support Professional Location: Waukesha County, WI Schedule: Part-time | 1st Shift | Every Saturday & Sunday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan (LSS) is seeking a compassionate Adult Residential Support Professional to join our team at Aspen Center, a residential addiction treatment program serving adult men. In this role, you'll provide hands-on support to residents as they work toward recovery and long-term sobriety in a safe, structured environment. What You'll Do Support, monitor, and encourage residents while serving as a positive role model Assist with daily living activities, housekeeping, meals, and life skills Complete documentation and maintain confidential client records Monitor or administer medications according to program policies Respond to emergencies and crisis situations appropriately Transport residents to appointments, meetings, and community activities Collect urine specimens and administer breathalyzer tests as needed Lead educational groups and support residents in achieving treatment goals Attend required trainings and staff meetings Perks & Benefits Paid Time Off Mileage reimbursement 403(b) retirement plan Annual pay increases Employee Assistance Program Employee recognition and service awards Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferred Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license preferred and must meet driving requirements Required DHS training may be completed after hire Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE). #J-18808-Ljbffr
