Group Logistics Manager I Location: Etna, OH Salary: $115,000 – $125,000 per year (DOE, based on experience) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm (based on business needs) Summary The Group Logistics Manager I oversees the financial, operational, and employee aspects of multiple warehouse accounts. Responsibilities include profitable retention and growth of business, ensuring that financial, employee safety, and customer satisfaction goals are met. Essential Functions Goal setting, skills assessment, IDPs, career development, performance evaluations, ongoing employee feedback, disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans. Develop direct and indirect reports, provide HR training, maintain staffing levels. Develop location processes, maintain SCLM, cross‑train CLS and CLC. Customer satisfaction and problem resolution; review KPI tracking and improvements. Improve employee retention, reduce accidents, manage overtime, and report injuries. Recommend process improvements and conduct self‑audits of location processes. Handle SOX invoice reconciliation, revenue recognition preparation, and invoicing to customers. Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned. Skills and Abilities Project management and facilitation. Strong oral and written communication. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain or related field (or two years of relevant experience). Master’s degree preferred. At least 5 years in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or related fields. At least 5 years managing and developing direct reports and large multi‑level teams. At least 3 years developing and implementing complete logistics solutions and project management. Experience leading teams in a LEAN environment (preferred). Experience with profit & loss responsibility (preferred). At least 1 year managing customer KPIs. Basic PC skills (Microsoft Office) required; advanced computer system knowledge preferred. Knowledge of truck brokerage, RD/Logistics/Transportation industry, Ryder safety programs, Ryder financial reporting, and pricing models preferred. Travel No travel required.
