Material Handler / Forklift Operator

Now Hiring: Material Handler / Forklift Operator ($22–$24/hr) We are looking for an experienced Material Handler / Forklift Operator for a full-time role Monday–Friday (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM). In this role, you will safely operate a sit-down propane forklift, offload flatbeds, move and stage materials, and assist with setting up warehouse racking. Daily duties also include wrapping pallets, cycle counting inventory, heavy material handling (2k–6k lbs), and conducting daily safety inspections. We are looking for dependable candidates with 2–3 years of sit-down forklift experience, communication skills, and a commitment to safety. Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities (Material Handler / Forklift Operator)

• Safely operate a sit-down propane forklift to move materials, perform flatbed offloading, and stage inventory.
• Conduct pre-operation safety inspections on equipment (checking seatbelt, wearing safety glasses, and ensuring loads remain balanced).
• Distribute, position, and set up large warehouse storage racks.
• Wrap, pack, and stage materials for shipping or storage.
• Perform inventory management tasks, including regular cycle counting.
• Safely lift, move, and handle heavy warehouse materials ranging from 2,000 to 6,000 lbs (using appropriate equipment).
• Maintain accurate manual timecards and follow all site safety protocols, including wearing required PPE (steel-toe boots required; vest, glasses, and gloves provided).
• Maintain proactive communication with team members and supervisors.
