Job Description Ultrasound Technologist – Float Location: Suffolk County, NY Hours: 4/10hr shifts between 7am-7pm Organization: New York Imaging In This Role, You Will Perform a wide range of ultrasound exams, including general, vascular, cardiac, and small parts in an outpatient setting. Prepare preliminary written impressions and communicate results to radiologists or cardiologists. Maintain and document regular equipment maintenance. Review and execute current lab protocols and ensure emergent tests are expedited. Assist doctors with outpatient procedures and biopsies. Follow and understand all radiology policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Demonstrate excellent communication, organization, and computer skills. Must be willing and able to float throughout Suffolk County locations. We Require Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent. RVT and/or ARDMS (AB) certification required. Bachelor's or Associate’s degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience. RDCS/Echo experience is a plus. What We Offer Starting Salary: $42.42 per hour, based on experience and certifications.
