Part-Time CaregiverPosition Summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dependable caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a client. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships while helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent.

Schedule

• Part-time
• Evening shifts
• Overnight shifts
• Flexible scheduling based on client needs

Primary ResponsibilitiesPersonal Care

• Bathing assistance
• Grooming and hygiene
• Dressing assistance
• Toileting and incontinence care
• Mobility and transfer assistance

Daily Living Support

• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Laundry
• Medication reminders
• Safety supervision

Companionship

• Conversation and emotional support
• Encouraging independence
• Providing a positive, caring presence

Physical Requirements

• Ability to consistently lift, transfer, push, and pull 50+ pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the shift
• Ability to safely assist with transfers and repositioning throughout the day
• Comfortable performing physically demanding caregiving tasks

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
• Previous professional or personal caregiving experience is required for this specific position
• Must be comfortable providing hands-on personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance
• Must be comfortable working in an environment with household pets, including dogs
• Compassionate, dependable, trustworthy, and able to work independently
