Job Opportunity

Position Overview

This role is for a specialized position in the Neuro Interventional Radiology Department within a Level 1 Trauma Center. The candidate will work varied shifts during day hours and participate in a call rotation as needed.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday
• Shift Hours: Varied 8-hour shifts starting from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM
• On Call: After 5 PM on weekdays and weekends supported by primary and backup call technicians
• Contract Length: 13 to 26 weeks

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience, preferably with prior charge experience
• Certifications: ARRT R, ARRT VI*, BLS, SC Radiography State License
• Preferred Experience: Trauma Level I, Community Hospital, and familiarity with EPIC charting system
• Specialized Skills: Interventional Radiology procedures including Stroke Thrombectomy, Aneurysm Coiling, Aneurysm Stenting, AVM Embolization, Carotid Stenting, and line access (PICC and dialysis catheter placement)

Patient Care Details

• Patient Demographics: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, and Geriatrics
• Daily Patient Census: 15 to 20 cases in a 3-room department
• Collaborative Support: Access to interdisciplinary teams including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more

Orientation and Compliance

• Orientation duration: 24 hours
• Pre-assignment testing and completion of mandatory modules within 48 hours of contract signing
• Eligible for reimbursement for time spent completing training modules (up to 16 hours)

Additional Information

The opportunity mandates flexibility, as agency staff are required to float to other units or campuses as needed due to patient census demands. All staff must float only to units for which they are qualified and have demonstrable competencies.
