Cath Lab Technologist - Day Shift

Location: South Carolina

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, 07:00 17:30. Flexibility required to work until all procedures are complete.

Job Description: The Cath Lab Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations. This role requires proficiency in scrubbing and monitoring procedures within the Cath Lab environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Assisting in the setup and operation of specialized cardiac equipment.
• Monitoring patient status during procedures and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Participating in on-call duties including one weekend per month and weekly call shifts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• A minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• ARRT or RCIS certification (registered or in process), along with a South Carolina license is mandatory.
• Experience with a variety of cardiac procedures including coronary interventions and monitoring.
• Radiation badge from the agency is required; MUSC does not provide radiation badges.
