Overview Retail Store Manager to join our Team! The role offers a pay range of $22.00 to $28.00 per hour plus potential bonuses. Position Summary We are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales is a plus). The Store Manager will be accountable for the day-to-day operations of the store, promote a positive and productive environment, lead, coach, and develop store employees, and recruit and retain top talent. The role involves maximizing financial goals, managing customer relations and satisfaction, and analyzing the store’s financial statements to meet and adjust goals as needed. The Store Manager will uphold the company asset protection program, manage inventory, and secure customer loans. They will use internal and external marketing tools to promote the business and target new customers. All employees may work with a variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. This position offers a competitive wage plus a bonus based on store performance. Final pay is based on location, qualifications, and experience. This position reports to the area’s District Manager. Responsibilities Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and addressing customer issues promptly. Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards. Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through prescribed channels. Open and close the store; count cash drawers and merchandise; ensure procedures protect assets. Ensure asset protection through inventory control, safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans. Administer processes within the store, including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and reporting. Evaluate the store’s financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal-setting. Ensure operating standards meet or exceed FirstCash standards. Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain value and integrity of all loans issued. Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development as requested. Communicate clearly with employees to align with the store’s mission and profit objectives. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge. Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Demonstrated ability to supervise others. Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified. Employees may assist customers exterior of the building or retrieve products from exterior storage areas. Minimum Age: 18 years old. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Should be able to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate. Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays; store managers will work 45+ hours per week (hours are not guaranteed). Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Analytical skills; cash handling experience required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent work ethic and strong business sense. Store Managers receive a commission based on the store’s monthly gross profit. Applicants will receive more details during the interview.
