Type: Local Contract
Position Summary Prosperity is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic outpatient team. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced primary care setting, supporting physicians and advanced practice providers while promoting optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to patients in an ambulatory/primary care setting
- Perform patient assessments, including vital signs, health histories, and symptom evaluation
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments in accordance with provider orders and clinical protocols
- Assist with minor procedures and exams
- Provide patient education on disease management, medications, preventive care, and wellness
- Coordinate care, including referrals, follow-ups, and communication with interdisciplinary teams
- Manage patient triage (in-person and telephone), prioritizing care based on clinical needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Support quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction goals
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience; ambulatory care, gynecology care required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
- Proficiency with EMR systems
