Your Role as a Founding Partner & Lead Veterinarian

This position transcends typical leadership; it offers a chance to establish and guide a veterinary practice with the robust support of a well-established network. As the Founding Partner & Lead Veterinarian, you will be the foundation of the hospital, tasked with creating a premier medical culture, mentoring your team, and steering the business towards success as a genuine owner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster a Vibrant Practice Culture: You will shape a client-centered, collaborative environment, setting the standard for medical excellence and teamwork from the outset.
  • Lead and Develop Your Medical Team: You will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and nurturing your associate veterinarians and support staff, cultivating a team that is skilled, efficient, and motivated.
  • Ensure Medical and Surgical Excellence: You will establish and uphold the hospital's care standards, guaranteeing outstanding patient care while providing mentorship in general surgery and dentistry.
  • Engage in Business Ownership: Collaborating closely with your Hospital Manager, you will oversee the hospital's financial performance, making strategic choices that promote revenue growth and long-term success.

Located in a vibrant community featuring 184,000 square feet across three buildings, our facility is part of a live-work-play environment with 115 luxury, pet-friendly residential units, complete with dedicated parking options. The choice of this location was informed by robust demographic, market, and growth data, with residents permitted to have two pets per unit, creating immediate local demand.

What You Bring to the Team
  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and a valid license to practice.
  • At least 4 years of veterinary experience, with a solid background in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry.
  • A compassionate and collaborative leadership approach, capable of mentoring and developing associate veterinarians and support staff.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a strong grasp of the elements necessary for running a successful practice.
  • Previous formal leadership or management experience is highly advantageous.
