Job Description As a Security Officer Badge Check Specialist in Earth City, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM, Tue 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM, Wed 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM, Thu 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns to the appropriate contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including loading, shipping, receiving, and perimeter areas, as working environments and conditions may vary by site. Support daily logistics and distribution operations by managing traffic flow at access points, communicating with site personnel, and following post orders related to deliveries, trailers, and/or vendor access. Minimum Requirements Be at least 21 years of age. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
