Provide expert pharmacy care as an experienced retail pharmacist in a dynamic, medium to high volume environment. This contract role begins the last week of August and lasts 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension. The position requires proficiency in managing prescriptions efficiently using Rx30 software, ensuring seamless operation of daily pharmacy functions and supporting patient health.

Location:

• Based in Madera, CA

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications in a fast-paced retail setting
• Manage medium to high volume prescription processing
• Use Rx30 software for prescription handling, record keeping, and inventory management
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other healthcare staff to provide excellent service
• Deliver counseling and medication guidance to patients as appropriate

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 6 months experience practicing in a retail pharmacy environment
• Skilled in managing medium to high volume prescription workflows
• Familiarity with Rx30 pharmacy management software
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Spanish-speaking ability is strongly preferred to communicate with Spanish-speaking patients and enhance service, though not required due to Spanish-speaking technicians on site
